I'm being hopeful that we don't have any more snow, But perhaps you can go and buy some seed, because this month you can sow broad beans, parsnips and radish and plant onion sets, shallots, artichoke and the last of the early garlic varieties.

In the green house or under cold frames you can start off aubergines (late in the month), beetroot, broad beans, summer cabbage, carrots, summer cauliflower, lettuce, salad onions, onion seed, round-seeded peas, sweet and chilli peppers, radish, spinach, tomatoes and turnips.
